Disappointment. We have had to stop halfway there because of a sudden thunderstorm that has temporarily flooded our path.
The servants started pumping the water out, but it will take us to tomorrow. I shall not see my new home today.
One good thing came out of it: When it started to rain, we stopped at an open rain shelter. I stood at the edge, and watched the rain. The land was beautiful, and though costly to our time, I do not regret stopping.
